Candy bars were the biggest fundraiser my Orchestra had. Band always got consession and any other big fundraisers. Because of financial problems, many students cannot afford their fees for the Orchestra and relied on the candy bars to pay them. It isn't safe for students to go door to door to sell them and school was the only real place students made a profit. It's absolutely ridiculous that candy bars are no longer a suitable fundraiser for students.
