Hobby Lobby, a family owned business, is being fined 1.3 million dollars a day for refusing to violate its conscience and offer healthcare coverage of contraceptions to employees. This is a grave injustice and affront to any freedom loving people. Hobby Lobby rights of freedom of conscience, freedom of religion and freedom of enterprise is being violated. The Constitution, which does not allow the federal government to pass laws in regards to healthcare or fine private business, is being violated. Please, Mr. President, speak up in Hobby Lobby’s defense and do all in your legal power to end these unjust fines and allow companies to be exempt from offering coverage of contraceptions in company health plans. Please reimburse Hobby Lobby for funds already lost to fines.
