Muslim Tamil National Alliance leader and former member of the Colombo Municipal Council Azath Salley, was arrested 2nd of May 2013 morning and Police spokesman said that the politician was arrested over some complaints lodged with the CID.
In March the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) had issued summons on Salley to appear at the CCD office.
