Relieve Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer of his duties and responsibilities as Criminal Division chief at DOJ.

WHEREAS Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer has abdicated his responsibility to enforce the laws of the land and to uphold the Constitution by failing to prosecute HSBC for money laundering of Mexican Drug Cartel monies, that he be removed as Assistant Attorney General. As reasons therefore, Mr. Breuer states, ""Our goal here is not to bring HSBC down, it's not to cause a systemic effect on the economy, it's not for people to lose thousands of jobs." This latest failure of the U.S. Department of Justice, under Breuer's stewardship of the Criminal Division, to prosecute white collar criminals involved in ever increasing and common willful violations of the law is unacceptable.
