Relieve Cathrynn N. Brown of her position as the Republican state Representative for introducing House Bill 206.

Created by P.D. on January 25, 2013

On Wednesday, Jan. 23rd, 2013, the State Rep. of New Mexico Cathrynn N. Brown (R) proposed House Bill 206 which would categorize abortion as "tampering with evidence in cases of criminal sexual penetration or incest." This would mean that women who become pregnant due to an instance of rape would be forced to carry to full term or else face legal punishment since the fetus would be considered "evidence" under this bill. Mrs. Brown has exhibited her incredible lack of judgment and human empathy with her proposal of this bill. We the People request that she be relieved of her duty as State Representative for not only demonizing women who experience this horrific situation but for trivializing such a complex issue.
