The Detroit Lions are and always have been - the joke of the National Football League.
It would seem year after year the Lions are at the wrong end of the stick; they get the bad call, they get screwed over, they are the laughing stock of the nation.
Over the past 58 years, the Lions have never won a Super Bowl. One of four teams to never even make it to a Super Bowl. Through those years, players have come and gone, but one thing has remained the same: the Ford Family has remained the owners of a team that simply deserves better.
And not only does the team deserve better - the city of Detroit deserves better. The fans that have waited years and years for the Lions to finally win deserve better.
And as long as the Ford's are the owners, there will be no championship brought home.
