Why?
1.) Our Military Bases helped Europe to rebuild its Industrial Complex after WWII & protected them from possible invasion from Russia; today, many of the European Nations have their own Military Forces to protect them from whatever turmoil that may arise.
2.) The African Continent holds 21 of the 27 strategic minerals in the World; it would be in our best interest to barter for the mineral resources &/or other resources on the African Continent in exchange for our services to develop their Industrial Complex... we can get out of Debt with the Chinese by selling them these processed (in the USA) minerals.
3.) Leasing the land for our Military Bases will be cheaper. Congress needs money for the NEW JOBS BILL & along with the billions of our dollars going to the UN for the development
