Remember the Oath of Office: To Preserve and Defend the Constitution, not create laws to take away 2nd Amendment rights.

The 2nd Amendment exists for the security of a free state, not so that I can go hunting or engage in target practice or gun collecting. When the 2nd Amendment was adopted, single shot rifles were the equivalent of a modern firearm today. Therefore, we have a right to modern style weapons to maintain or Founding Fathers original intent: to protect ourselves and our communities against evil and the possibility of a tyrannical government that might choose to take this right away.
