The Founding Fathers had put into place the rights for states to leave the United States if they were unhappy with the Government. They also put in charge of the American people "that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and institute new Government." Even though the 1869 Supreme Court ruled secession as unconstitutional, they were going against that which the Founding Fathers wanted. Remember states rights, and I for one support those states that want to leave the United States,North Carolina included. This country is no longer of the people by the people or FOR the people, it is now for political crooks in Washington and this should stop. Either reform the government or "Give me liberty or give me death"
