Remember those Texans that love this beautiful country, and do not have any desire to secede from it.

I was born in the state of Texas and raised there all my life, yet I am an American citizen first and foremost. I was taught that federal and state government should work together for a better nation. I was taught that the consequences of states seceding from the country was war. That war tore the nation apart and took over 600,000 lives. Divided, we fall. I respect our elected President, and the two other branches of government that promote balance. My personal political views may differ from that of other Texans, but I am certain I am not the only Texan that finds the request to leave the United States appalling and absurd.
