remember that those of us on Soc.or Soc.Sec.Disab. haven't had a C.O. living increase in 3 yrs.Those on the Hill did!!

Why does Congress, the House of Representatives,the senators and everyone in politics in Wash. D.C. get a cost of living increase every year, and most of them also get raises,and they all cry over raising taxes on the rich because they say it's unfair.In the meantime, all of us that have been forced to pay into Soc Sec. and now, more than ever, we need at least a Cost of Living increase,which we haven't gotten for 3 yrs? We were forced to pay into it while we were working so that it would be there when we become unable to work anymore.The first yr. that we got no increase,we were told that the cost of living hadn't gone up enough tojustify giving us anything.Now,it's on the back burner,and all our elected officials don't want to talk about it.It burns me up.Lets demand a "COLA" this
year.
