The tulsa race riot started when a black man tripped over a white women's foot, and she claimed he assaulted her. This sent the white community into an uproar and they came to lynch him. The black community was worried and came to stop it from happening. A shot was fired on accident when a white man attempted to take a gun from a black veteran, and then all hell broke loose.
They fought, and then the white community did something truly terrible. They bombed "Black Wall Street", of Greenwood Tulsa, Oklahoma. That was in addition to them setting fire to their houses, approximately 10,000 blacks were left without a home. No white man went to jail for this.
This is not about race, it is about human rights. We should have a day set aside for this massacre and remember the victims
