Remembrance Day

Created by L.S. on September 09, 2016

9/11 was real. It still is. It's been 15 + years, and because it's not the "official date", most people forget or don't appreciate it and continue living their lives.A moment of silence is not even adequate to what that day was worth. Yet, sadly, I know the reason 9/11 isn't a "National Holiday" yet is because it would cost the federal government $450 million dollars in employee pay and lost productivity!. So, the those lives that were lost, will essentially cost "too much money" to close down for one day. OH! And we already have 10 holidays, specifically Labor Day, which is "too close" to 9/11, and it would make it "2 short work weeks". I guess the loss of people's lives & families on the most EPIC TERRORIST DECLARED DAY OF THE WORLD didn't resonate? Shame on the "government". #REMEMBER
