Our republic is a form of democracy. It was envisioned to allow people to represent them in the chosen form of government. To leave the country because your view of the country is not the same as other members is a narrow and short sided offence to the foundation that allows the country to operate and sustain itself in the past 200 years. If removing oneself from the debate or secession in this case, only means that they have no more respect for themselves or the country at large. They need to relearn the basics of our country and understand that there are ways for them to move the country in their direction they feel is best, not just try to break the country that their parents, grand-parents and ancestors fought and lived to be a part of.
