The fraud and abuse is overwhelmingly out of control. Let's actually help those who truely need help. Anyone capable and able should be working - assigned to a job when receiving tax payer dollars. In some states even prisoners are required to work doing jobs that anyone else would do while being taken care of in prison. People can't find work, they get welfare or even unemployment checks - so, there are several jobs that can be assigned until that person finds a paying job. All these people could be serving a purpose and using their time for very worthy service to improve our country. They are still being paid something. There are thousands of things people could be doing to earn that money until they could get a job without government assistance.
