Hampshire College located in Amherst, Massachusetts has made the decision to not allow the American Flag to be flown on its campus.
While there is no law or regulation that requires it, this intolerant and exclusionary policy is disrespectful to all currently serving members of the Armed Forces and veterans.
This policy is an example of how institutions that receive federal aid further strive to suppress the first amendment rights of those who might dissent against popular academic opinion. Our Academic institutions which were founded on the principle of free thought, have used "diversity and inclusion" as an excuse to suppress the freedom of speech of those who might hold a different oponion.
Amherst College should nit receive further Federal Aid until it discontinues thiso policy.
