The current legal age to purchase alcohol at 21 and tobacco at 18 is unlawful. Substances that are legal for one American to purchase and use should be lawful for all Americans. Also these laws still exist due to the current violation of our civil rights repressing natural born and naturalized Americans from voting. Voting in all forms of elections is a civil liberty that is received by all Americans at birth as natural born or upon successful naturalization. Americans who lawfully pay taxes prior to age 18 is taxation without representation, one Americans voting rights is equal to another’s and we all should enjoy the right to freedom of speech and demonstration through voting.
