Remove the 2005 law that exempts hydraulic fracturing (Fracking) from regulatory oversight by the EPA.

Created by M.B. on December 07, 2012

In light of recent and increasing numbers of reports of earthquakes, tainted water supplies, and other public health related incidents associated with hydraulic fracturing (Fracking), as well as the gas industry's use of the "trade secret" exemption in federal law to bypass the requirements found in other laws to disclose the chemicals used in their process, we petition the Obama administration to take action and repeal the 2005 law that exempts the hydraulic fracturing process from EPA oversight.
