Time and time again we see either industry lobbyist, past employees, or those with a complete conflict of interest running the very agencies set up to oversee their industry. Huge companies have completely corrupted the system into a revolving door affair, placing key people in Federal agencies and rewarding those who rule favorably their way with cush positions when they leave government service. It's time we had honest and uncorruptable people running important oversight agencies like the FDA, Dept of Agriculture, CDC, etc. It would seem these agencies are no longer there to protect the American people, but to serve and protect corporate interests!
