Remove all bans on all mild steel core ammunition that was initially designed for a rifle.

Created by J.B. on March 13, 2015

We request that all steel core rifle ammunition be allowed for sale. Just like the M855 most of these cartridges have a steel core but are nor intended to be AP or armor penetrating ammunition. Simply banning it due to lower cost and more environmentally friendly steel core construction technique is pointless as mild steel is not intended to defeat armor.

Examples are 7.62x25, 7.62x39, and 5.45x39

Even some pistol calibers are in mild steel and are proven to make little difference in penetration.
