The number of dogs at Carmel City Beach is intolerable. They are not leashed and interfere with the natural ambiance. People are bothered while walking the beach, jogging the beach, or enjoying free time with their children and loved ones at the beach. The dog situation is out of control, there are usually numerous dogs per person and none of them are leashed. All breeds all sizes from Yorkshire terriers to Labradors. This is not acceptable the beach is meant to be enjoyed by human being and the overwhelming number of dogs seriously inhibits human enjoyment at an absolutely beautiful beach.
