Remove all embedded third-party technologies from Federal websites so we can interact with our government in private.

Created by M.D. on December 09, 2013

Federal websites contain third-party embedded technologies that enable companies such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, and others, to track nearly all of our web-based interactions with our government. The issue exists on many Federal websites where citizens have a reasonable and necessary expectation of privacy, such as healthcare.gov, irs.gov, uscourts.gov, whitehouse.gov, sentate.gov, and house.gov. Citizens must be able to interact with the Government without any third-party knowing the details of, let alone existence of, such interactions. It is an alarming fact that Google, in particular, is able to track, on an individual basis, nearly all of every citizen's web-based interactions with our Government. We petition our government to remedy this threat to our privacy and our democracy
