Remove all Federal and State knife restrictions as it is a violation of the 2nd Amendment.

Created by R.M. on January 13, 2013

The 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution states citizens have the right to keep and bear arms, and that right shall not be infringed. An arm is a weapon, a weapon is a tool, so a knife would fall under the title of 'arm' as firearms fall under that title as well. Federal and State level governments have infringed on this right with various restrictions, such as the outlawing the possession and carry of switchblades in many States. The Switchblade Knife Act of 1958 also infringes on the 2nd Amendment. We ask that State and Federal restrictions on knives, especially switchblades, be repealed due to their nature that violates 2nd Amendment rights. Do human beings not have the right to affordable self defense with knives and switchblades when a Concealed Carry can not be used?
