Just as the Southern Heritage flag is considered a symbol of racial division in America; the same can be said of imagery or symbols depicting the civil rights movement and it's leaders. Both depict historical periods of racial discrimination and division that fostered hate and violence. Therefore, so as the Federal government should not promote civil unrest and racial division, removal of all symbols that promote or otherwise remind Americans and the world of past and present racial divisions that resulted in violence and hate from both blacks and whites are offensive and should be removed from all federal properties.
