It is time that we end the madness of Gun Free Zones. These zones infringe on the rights of U.S. citizens to defend themselves by forcing disarmament when going into a gun-free zone. Law abiding gun owners in this country need to stop being demonized, but rather respected for wanting to defend their family and those around them against maniacs.
We all know by definition criminals do not obey the law, so why would they abide by a Gun Free Zone? Gun Free Zones do not deter crime, they only make it easier for criminals to slaughter innocent people until the police can arrive.
It's time for the Government to give us back our inalienable rights as human being to defend ourselves from those that would do us and those around us harm.
