Over the years Americans have watched as Washington was taken over by lobbyists who do not always act in the best interest of the American people. Lobbyists have increasingly wielded power, not always in line with the average American’s views. In our current digital age where sites like this are not only available, but prevalent, the American people no longer need corporate backed lobbyists to push varying agendas.
I propose that we remove all lobbyists from Washington and make it illegal to wield influence based on financial backing. I further propose that we return influence back to the hands of the people by offering more sites like this one backed with secure log ins based on social security numbers.
