Freemasonry is a religious organization and as such, should not be afforded special privileges by having their symbols on public buildings and currency and the apparent endorsement of the Government, which it is expressly forbidden to do according to the First Amendment of the US Constitution.
By allowing these symbols to be displayed so prominently, it gives the impression that the Government not only endorses, but has established Freemasonry as our national religion.
Just imagine if crosses, crescent moons or Stars of David were carved, etched, sculpted or printed on public buildings and currency and one can begin to understand the egregious violation of the separation of Church and State this promotion of Freemasonry really is and the need to immediately remedy the situation.
