In order to clearly and responsibly uphold the separation of church and state, it is imperative that we eliminate any and all national holidays that have any religious origins or are based on any religion's calendar.
The only other option would be to acknowledge and create an equal amount of national holidays that represents every religion celebrated in the United States, regardless of the size of the congregation or origin.
