We as a nation are in a time of crisis. Our economy is near poverty level and a very large percentage of Americans are struggling to make ends meet. While everyone in office is saying 'tax the rich vs tax the poor.' Why not cut funding at a very large source. The pensions that all members of congress get after they retire from office, for life. Why do they deserve this? Most if not all are already rich. Or they have businesses that provide them constant income. Our taxpayer money is being thrown at an administration that got us in this mess in the first place.
We should cut and/or remove the pension from all government offices and save the country millions of dollars each year on money that the recipients don't truly need.
