Private contributions to political campaigns is corrupting the system.
It encourages politicians to work for special interest groups and the wealthiest Americans.
It is also holding America back from having a viable third party.
Finally, it blocks many well qualified public servants to run for significant office positions if they do not have a fortune of their own or very wealthy friends.
Lets put the government back in the hands of the people so that we can be protected from oppression by the wealthiest Americans.
