Removing the questions from government forms that identify a specific race and gender will force the removal of demographic information, truly equalizing both genders and all races.
Medical forms will still require this information as there are clear differences between the genders, and some races are more prone to certain conditions than others.
Driver's license and identification cards should be the only government form that has these questions, as they can be used for identification.
Removing the demographic questions from forms will also allow for truly equal opportunities for everyone, removing the advantages that some races get for higher education as one example.
These questions unintentionally cause this inequality and are a direct contributor to continuing racism in this country.
