Fully restore the original intent of the 2nd amendment by repealing any and all gun regulations that affect law abiding, mentally stable citizens.
A law abiding citizen should be allowed to arm themselves in a manner simular to the "average" USA solider does. This would include repealing the 1934 "machine gun" tax and the 1986 Firearms Owners' Protection Act. which put a freeze on any machine gun made after 1986. Many guns have been banned that a great for defense and for entertainment.
Our laws should be made to punish those who break the law not the people who follow it. As such if repealed strong punishments must be in place and used. For example a "straw" purchase should have a min. sentence of 10 years with no plea deals or exceptions.
