It is time to end the bans on marriage in this country once and for all, there is way to much time and money being wasted on something that should never have been up for a vote to begin with. It is not for another human to decide who can and can't get married. Two consenting adults that love each other should be allow to get married and enjoy everything attached to that marriage.
The root cause of any and all of this is discrimination, and history has proven that discrimination should not be tolerated. Making discrimination against the LGBTQ community illegal nationwide, as it already is for race, gender, disabilities and religion. There are protections in place for everyone...LGBTQ people should be no exception to this rule on any level.
