The purpose of this petition is to reduce driving times between cities.
Many Interstates run through areas with low population densities. These parts of our highways often have few exits, turns, inclines, or traffic. People should be allowed to take advantage of these stretches of road through driving at high speeds.
In addition to decreasing travel times, removing speed limits would also increase the incentive for drivers to remain attentive at the wheel and for government to maintain a high quality of infrastructure.
