This is a petition to remove religion from politics and national use. The first amendment says freedom of religion, yet politics are forcing christian ideas as debate topics and using them as points. This leaves people of other religions and secular people feel left out. Especially when in the pledge of allegiance says "under god", some people don't believe in god and shouldn't be forced to pledge allegiance to a country that believes in christian principles yet was founded on a basis of a freedom of religion.
