As the United States grows further and further into debt, it is clear that we cannot continue our imperialistic tendencies around the world. Our servicemen and servicewomen are being killed by the very people we are supposedly helping.
We went to Afghanistan to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, and we have done so. It is time to come home.
It is time to restore our country. Why are we wasting money and resources around the world when we cannot even take care of our own and tighten our security around our borders?
It is because of this that I petition the Obama Administration to bring our troops home, station them around our borders, and do away with the Department of Homeland Security. This will cut trillions over dollars off of our budget, therefore helping our economy recover.
