During the political turmoil in Thailand, it is obvious that Ambassador Kenny has sided with the corrupt and ruthless caretaker government. She fails to understand the true political situation in Thailand, most likely due to conflict of interests. It's said that she doesn't know anything outside the Embassy walls. She repeatedly talks about election and democracy even though, to most Thais, she does not understand what true democracy is. Election does not equate democracy particularly when votes are bought and the corrupt politicians come back to power. The Military-takeover is needed to restore peace and rule of laws and stop the government-supported killing. It is high time the US has appointed a professional and ethical representative to restore credibility in this region.
