The time has come for the Cuban people to get relief from hunger and oppression and start trading with this great country of ours - The USA.
It has been over 50 years since these sanctions started and that is long enough to know that it hasn't worked and change needs to take place. Castro is still in power today and the Cuban people still have no food, medicine, electricity, water or infrastructure to make their lives better. We are hurting the people of Cuba, not their leaders.
A small country only 90 miles from the USA with a few million of Cuban Americans living in this great country. The Cuban people have no food or arms to rebel against that government but we Americans have ideology and the experience of what true democracy is like to teach them now and they are ready for it.
