This petition is aimed at having President Andrew Jackson removed from the $20 bill.
Under Jackson's presidency, and defying a ruling by the Supreme Court, the Indian Removal Act was signed in to law.
This law directly caused the deaths of nearly 4,000 Cherokee Native Americans, some historians have even referred to the event as a genocide.
Jackson, also a slave owner, does not deserve such an honor in history as to be pictured on a piece of currency.
It is therefore time for his image to be removed from the $20 bill and replaced with someone far more worthy of that place.
