Remove Andrew Jackson from the $20 bill and replace him with someone all Americans can be proud of.

Created by J.S. on September 25, 2011

Since 1928, the US Government has honored President Andrew Jackson by placing him on the twenty-dollar bill. Jackson's actions as president were responsible for the deaths of thousands of Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee-Creek, and Seminole Indians by removing them from their ancestral lands on the Trail of Tears. He is not a figure from American history we should be honoring.

We move that the US Government should change the face on the twenty-dollar bill to someone all Americans can be proud of. There is no shortage of such figures.
