I don't support racism or oppression. This man unlawfully created the Indian Removal Act in order to remove American Indians from their land and pushed them into Oklahoma killing thousands on the way, this became known as the Trail of Tears. What was Andrew Jackson's motive? Pure racism. If the United States is really "the land of the free" and full of "equality" then why is Andrew Jackson still on the currency? It makes no sense. He should be replaced with an important American Indian such as Sequoyah, Big Elk or Crazy Horse. American Indians deserve respect. Change.
