Andrew Jackson made his money by slavery, and forced 46,000 Native American people off their lands so that he could expand his "business." Despite the Supreme Court ruling the Indian Removal Act unconstitutional, Andrew Jackson went through with it. This is not a person we should honor.
Wouldn't a better legacy be Alan Shepard, the first American in space? I'm sure we could come up with hundreds of options that would be better than Andrew Jackson. Let's vote for a replacement!
