remove Andrew Jackson from the $20.

Created by R.C. on March 05, 2014

Andrew Jackson railed against the bank. He violated treaties with the Indians and encouraged genocide.

Why is he on our $20 bill?

It is disrespectful to him, since he was against a Federal bank.

"But if they have other power to regulate the currency, it was conferred to be exercised by themselves, and not to be transferred to a corporation.... It is neither necessary nor proper to transfer its legislative power to such a bank, and therefore unconstitutional."

It is disrespectful to the descendants of the victims of his crimes as well.
