As a pinnacle of the American Dream, Alexander Hamilton essentially defined success within American Society. Born an illegitimate child in the British West Indies, he rose up out of poverty and received a formal education at Columbia University, He later went on to found the Bank of North America, co-author the Federalist Papers, and establish the New York Post.
However, recent developments have emerged which call for the specific removal of this man from the $10 bill, being replaced with a historical woman figure.
Instead of displacing this admirable American hero, we call for the removal, instead, of our 7th president, Andrew Jackson, from the $20 bill.
We believe that Jackson, who is undoubtedly a murderer (Indian Removal Policy, Worcester v. Georgia), should not grace this currency.
