Remove Andrew Jackson from the twenty dollar bill.

Created by B.M. on November 12, 2012

Replace the portrait on the twenty dollar bill of Andrew Jackson, who symbolizes a very painful part of American history for Native Americans, with a much more honorable figure from American history who deserves to be memorialized (such as James Madison or John Marshall). Andrew Jackson is responsible for having signed the "Indian Removal Act," which resulted in the Trail of Tears where over 16,000 people were forcibly displaced from their homes and over 4,000 people died.
