as there is absolutely no proof whatsoever that a god of any sort exists, that anything in all the universe happens because of a god, or that an oath to any sort of god makes the oath impeachable, any reference to a god in any official oath, be it for federal, state, or local service, should be removed. as for the bible, its up to the oath taker, but if they were to truly be swearing to represent the people, a phonebook would be more apt.
george washington didn't swear to a god when he took the oath, and he did all right.
