This is a petition designed to forcefully remove from office Congressmen and women who have utterly and spectacularly failed in their duties as public officials to do their jobs in the face of a completely preventable sequester act.
As an average working person, if I were to take a vacation with deadlines looming, with a mentality of 'riding it out' and leaving the burden to be shouldered by others, logic dictates I am neither qualified or deserving of that employed position.
Congress exists to serve the people, and without service to the people, Congress is vestigial and harmful to the American people. Any who chose to vacation in the face of a looming economic crisis which will cost American jobs do not deserve the prestige of representing the United States of America.
