Martin Luther King was a proponent of the civil rights movement of the 60's. He was also assassinated. Why was he assassinated? Because his melatonin in his skin resided at a higher concentration than his white brethren.
With the "Confederate" Flag being the subject of much recent scrutiny for being "racist" (Which was actually the battle flag of General Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia.) With all things considered, if a battle flag is linked to a racist past than all things related to MLK should also be included in this mix.
MLK was assassinated out of racist hate and violence. I do not, as an American want to be reminded of our violent racist past. Please remove this reminder from our history books as you have done for the "Confederate" flag.
