remove any reference to a political party/parties from any official ballot or polling place.

Created by P.D. on January 08, 2013

As Americans, we have become lazy with the way we select our elected officials. Far too many of us vote strictly based onthe candidates political affiliation. Far too few of us do enough research about our candidates to know what they actually believe in, what they have done in their past, or if they are even qualified. In order to promote the education of our electorate, allow people to vote for the candidate that best reflects our ideals, and to eliminate the empirical rule of the two ruling parties in our country, I propose that we we remove the party affiliation from the ballot. For example a ballot would no longer read "John Q. Politician - rupublicratarian party" and would simply read "John Q. Politician".
