US citizens are not allowed to lawfully own or operate certain weapons for presonal pleasure and personal protection. Therefore, if an "assault weapons" ban were to be imposed on law abiding U.S. citizens, then we feel that the governing body of the United States and all associated with it should be subject to the same level of personal protection that they are affording to all other U.S. citizens.
Therefore we feel that The office of the President of the United States, the First Family, Congress and all others who receive federal protection details/services should not be subject to protection (on U.S. soil) by any weapon which is not legal for other U.S. citizens to CURRENTLY purchase.
